Authentic Leadership Confidence is that magical ingredient all great leaders possess. It’s this certain substance that enables them to step into daunting challenges with certainty, clarity and calmness, in order to create meaningful impact within their organisations, their communities and in the world.
Yet, maintaining confidence in a leadership marketplace that is increasingly growing in demand and pressure, is one of the biggest challenges us leaders face. These days, leadership positions are filled with anxiety-ridden mindsets and long hours that take a toll on our relationships, volatility, uncertainty and complexity.
But here’s the thing, it’s our performance in pivotal leadership moments that can be success defining; either making or breaking our career and the impact we want to make. If we are not able to bring our A-game to critical key performance situations, it ultimately leads to burn-out and disastrous impact to our health and well-being.
That’s why I created The Confidence Lab. We need our leaders to be operating at their optimum level, because they are in a position of influence to lead their teams, and their organisations – and ultimately, the world - through copious amounts of change, uncertainty and instability.

In examining the leadership development industry, I see that a lot of wasted time and effort is spent dealing with the symptoms of low confidence rather than the cause itself. This is something I want to address because we’re wasting money on ‘band-aid solutions’ and we’re not leaving leaders with the capabilities to manage their confidence throughout their career.
I launched The Confidence Lab to put Authentic Leadership Confidence in sharp focus and to ensure that organisations are equipping their leaders with the necessary strategies and mindsets, to lead effectively in this rapidly changing world.
