Group Masterclasses are single/ multiple day workshops designed for groups or teams of up to 15 people. After many years in Consumer Electronics industry around the globe I decided that I would challenge myself by entering into a new sector. I was very cognisant that there would be a huge learning curve and whilst I had varied experience, I was feeling vulnerable and excited to change. I reached out to Rob to help me navigate through the early days of that change. The change was not easy and it was excellent to have someone I could reach out to and share what was happening and given Rob’s experience and nature it ensured I was able to navigate clearly and soundly. I would not have been able to make that successful transition without his coaching and help. Above all else, in my view he created an independent “sounding board” and framework that ensured I keep everything in check. I learnt a lot of new skills and whilst the new surroundings were scary and sometimes intimidating, the discussion with Rob was challenging, supportive and thought provoking. I learnt a lot about myself and gained a lot of new skills. I have used the framework many times since. Rob became my Coach, but I consider him also my friend.
I have been working with Rob for over a year now. After having made a large change to our business, I was looking for a personal coach outside of the organization who I could feel comfortable with to bounce ideas and challenges off. As a leader of an organization going through a massive change, I found it of huge benefit to be able to confide in someone like Rob in every day challenges, whether it be business or personal related. Since having started with Rob, I feel more confident in my leadership style. I have since enrolled a couple of my Leadership Team members through this same coaching program and have engaged with Rob to run a full day “Re-Invent” workshop. This is a workshop designed purely to bring a leadership team together in helping define what the key priorities for taking the business to the next level are and helping define what to let go of. A workshop that I would highly recommend for any team!
I was given a recommendation by my manager to work with Rob Wilson at a time where I needed assistance in navigating my future career. Luckily for me I had been afforded options and was at a crossroads in terms of a selecting a pathway to continue my leadership journey. Working with Rob was an amazing experience! I was a leader that lacked confidence and had self-worth issues. I started working with Rob when I had just been promoted to Marketing Director and working for the first time on the Executive Team. I wanted to make sure that I hit the ground running and so I enrolled the support of Rob to help me in bringing my best leadership to this new opportunity. Working with Rob was great and through our work together I was able to experiment with new styles and approaches to leadership in a way that felt safe. He approached each coaching session with an openness and ability to explore a breadth of leadership topics. Through insightful questions and frameworks I was able to rethink my leadership style and try out new approaches. The REINVENT program was an excellent learning process and stepping stone that opened the door to reset the team’s mindset, putting past negatives behind us, acknowledging individual contributions and collaborating, maximising our strengths in teamwork. It also taught us stress management tolerance not to get caught up in the minor issues that cause us to lose sight of our goals.
